Workshop 6: The Final Workshop

The final workshop will be jointly held with the EPSRC International Network in Micro-fabricated Atomic Quantum Sensors (INMAQS). The scope of the workshop combines the topics of both Networks as well as discussion of follow-on activities to build upon the communities developed through the lifetime of both Networks. In particular, we hope to identify synergies and mutual areas of interest. However, this does not exclude other aspects of each Network and their scope.

  • We appreciate that some applicants will require extended lead-times for approvals and visa, please let us know at the time of application if an expedited decision is required

Applications

Priority will be given to INSQT and INMAQS members. If there is availability, then external participants will be considered.

We particularly welcome applicants from underrepresented groups.

Funding

There will be a limited number of travel bursaries available to support participants who otherwise would not be able to attend, especially Early Career Researchers and students. Unfortunately EPSRC regulations do not permit direct funding to be provided to UK Students (irrespective of whether they are funded by EPSRC or not).

Recipients of travel bursaries will be expected to give a poster or oral presentation at the Workshop.

As for previous workshops, we intend on offering local accommodation for attendees who require it from the evening of the 29th July to the 1st August.

NOTE: Due to funding requirements, there is a strict cut-off date for submitting claims, together with supporting receipts. It will not be possible to reimburse claims that are submitted after the cut-off date (the system will not allow it). Hence all claim will need to submitted in full by the 15th August 2025 to allow for processing. Claims submitted after this cut-off are likely not be able to be reimbursed. If you have been offered a travel bursary and foresee a problem with meeting this deadline, then please inform the organisers as soon as possible.
