Q: If I would like my poster to be printed, where should I send the file?

A: Please send the file to RALSpace-Events@stfc.ac.uk with the subject ‘INSQT poster’ (or something similar)!

Q: Is it permissible to attend the workshop in person partially, if I cannot stay for the duration?

A: On each day we’d ideally need visitors to arrive on time. We will have enough staff to help escort visitors on site, and will try to have one additional person stationed at main reception to guide attendees arriving late, if arriving in your own car or by own arrangements. We are happy in principle for visitors to leave early, but it is likely you will have to make your own arrangements in this scenario; with enough notice we could have our Transport team available for nearby drop offs.

We are happy to reimburse travel via our expense claim procedure (which you will be made aware of at acceptance),which will allow for use of public transport.

If you will require a taxi that you would like us to book for you, you will need to provide advance notice, as locally it can be up to 1 hour wait.

Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?

A: Photo ID must be brought and kept on your person at all times.

Visitors will be given a name badge/lanyard – this must be worn at all times on site, every day (people often forget them at the hotel).

Q: Will there be Wifi?

A: Wifi will be available and guest instructions for connection provided!
